Denley King was founded by Frederick Charles Denley and Kenneth King in 1946. Trading as F C Denley King & Partners the practice specialised in the provision of quantity surveying services and was busy in the early post war years providing their expertise to local authorities and public bodies.
In 2005 Denley King celebrated its 60th Anniversary, the intervening years having brought many exciting developments. With the expansion of the company’s services and client base it rapidly gained recognition as a leading construction consultant and further offices were established at London, Winchester and Canterbury. It has also brought professional links with commissions in Nigeria, Dubai, America and Libya. In 2003 Denley King opened an office at St. Peterburg (Russian Federation).
In December 2007 Denley King Construction Consultants agreed to collaborate, and are subsequently proposing to merge with Boxall Sayer Limited and Fletcher McNeill Limited, having formed an AIM listed Company – Baqus Group plc.
